Memorial Day is rapidly approaching and Mecca Camp Resort is ready to get this season rolling. The pool is 75 degrees, the sun is shining, the griddle is hot and the movie theater is prepped and read to go.
Memorial Day Weekend Activities
We are extremely excited for Memorial Day Weekend as it will kick off our season of activities at the campground, and the weather is looking pretty good! Our activities schedule for the weekend will be:
Friday, May 26:
Outdoor Movie Night with Free Popcorn. Sodas, Beer and other snacks will be available for purchase. Movie will begin when it gets dark!
Also Beef & Blossoms by Muddy Water Farms will be on site selling farm raised beef if you're looking to get some fresh steaks on that grill over the weekend.
Saturday, May 27:
FREE PANCAKES for everyone in the park! Swing on over to the patio next to the pool in the morning beginning at 8 a.m. to snag some free fresh made pancakes. As usual Hot Coffee will be ready to roll and we will also be offering bacon and sausage patties for $1.
FREE SNOW CONES by the pool! We will have the Snow Cone station set starting at 2 p.m. for everyone to enjoy.
Sunday, May 28:
BINGO on the Patio at 2 p.m. Great prizes will be available and cards can be purchased for $5. Last season, Bingo was a bit hit and we are bringing it back bigger and better than ever. Huge prizes in store for all winners!
THE PORCH @ Mecca Camp Resort will have live music from both Terry Greene and The Danny James Band throughout the evening! BlackJack Burrito will be serving some of the biggest and baddest burritos in Monroe County! Doors open at 5 p.m. and music will start at 5:30. Beer and Mocktails will be available for purchase, and we are proud to feature local IPAs on tap at The Porch!
New Dog Park Is Open
We are happy to also announce that our new dog park is open and ready for use. We have already had some furry friends enjoying their time back there. Make sure you check it out while you're here!
Conclusion
We are so very excited to host everyone this coming weekend! It will be filled with tons of activities for every member of the family. We will be announcing the rest of our summer activities right after Memorial Day weekend!
