Celebrate the Re-Opening of the Cherohala Skyway

Much like many of our small business friends in Tellico Plains, the flooding sustained at Mecca Camp Resort during the August 15th storm resulted in tens of thousands of dollars in repairs and lost revenue with no support from Insurance, the State, or the County. Additionally, the impact of the Skyway closure has significantly impacted tourism within Monroe County. Being a privately-owned park, these impacts add up. Thankfully, we have somewhat weathered the storm and are looking forward to the re-opening of the Skyway on Friday, September 22nd!

Skyway Celebration Concert

To celebrate the re-opening, we would love your support by joining us Friday, September 22 at The Porch, 1225 Mecca Pike, as we host a Skyway Celebration Concert with our local favorites Sarah Williams and Michael Cass. We will have Midlife Frysis serving up food! It will be a great time for all. Doors open at 5 PM and music is from 7-9 PM.

Glamping Again

As we head into the fall, our attention and efforts have been placed toward repairing the damage to the tents, roads, and culverts. We have had to cancel many reservations and not make any new bookings. Happily, we would like to announce that the Glamping Tents are once again available to rent starting Sept 28. We hope you understand and please know we appreciate all the support you have given to us during this time.

Come Stay With Us - Tellico Plains Wants To See You!

Please also know that The Porch is open to the public, available for rental, and will always be hosting Vols Games on Saturdays. Please join us at The Porch or stay with us at Mecca Camp Resort to enjoy the fall colors that our beautiful mountains have to offer.

Our pool will remain open until November 1st!

As a "Thank You" for your continued support of Mecca Camp Resort, we are offering a 10% discount for any new reservation made between today and September 30 for any stay during the rest of 2023.
